Starbuck's profits jump 37%, I thought we were in a recession! Not with coffee July 22, 2010 12:40 am People will drink no matter what. Perhaps the recession is hitting a very narrow band of people and not all those who have jobs and have money in the pocket. So what is the problem with the current recession? It is the huge gap between thos who have and those who do not. There is such a wide gap that the people with jobs are oblivious to the suffering by those who do not have.
