My Story
I love to laugh. Happiness, although hard to find sometimes, is very important to me. I love to spend time with my family. I don't need much.. just my family and a good laugh. As far as friends, I don't have too many, the ones I do have are not just friends they are family to me. You know who you are, I don't need to name you. So if I don't consider you family, you're not my friend.
I love to write poetry. I let my mind speak through paper and pen. "The Mind speaks what the Soul desires... through the words of Poets... into the hearts of Lovers"

Education, Profession and Skills

Music and Movies

The Beatles and Depeche Mode are my all time favorites. Other favorites are: Eulogies, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, The Rollin Stones, The Beach Boys, AC/DC, U2, Queen, Oasis, No Doubt, Journey, Boston, Heart, Janis Joplin... pretty much anything I can sing, but not pop music or rap. My one confession I'm really into The Jonas Brothers. I love to dance to 80's music. I watch all types of movies from dramas to comedies, especially horror movies. Favorites include but are not limited to: All Disney movies, All Johnny Depp movies, Knocked Up, 300, Wall-E, anything with Super Heroes. Ok Well I will watch anything... unless Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt are in them... thats where I draw the line!!!

Choice is what makes democracy happen. Support alternative social network!
August 12, 2011 02:05 am

It is choice to do what we want, to buy what we want and have a choice which social network to join.

If there was no choice we would all be reading Pravda newspaper in Russian and buying the Yugo car from Yugoslavia.

How would you like that? So it falls on each of us to encourage choice. Choose www.hotfuse.com and other web sites. Don't let any social network become too big to fail! Got it!

Families balancing the budget around kitchen table? Uaaha?! Which family is that
July 27, 2011 10:43 pm

Most of the families in USA are in debt and getting worse. They are stretched to the limit. If the US Government cut back on spending at this critical moment then it would be catclismic. it would be a total meltdown syndrom. The China Syndrom with a new meaning.

Those novices in the Congress are the most irresponsible people in USA.

Vote responsibly next time.

What does it exactly mean to be a good citizen?
January 06, 2011 02:15 am

It can mean different things to different people and their mood when you ask them.

1) Not impose others unnecessarily nor be an unbearable pest to anyone!

2) Keep your house, the street, other places clean, so that others as well as you can enjoy all that your city has to offer.

3) Make a strong contribution to your community by working to the best of your ability, and give more than you take out.

4) Help others if they need your help....etc.

Got the picture? It is all about helping others and only then you will get the pleasure of living happily and peacefully in your city.

A dieting resolution for the new year
December 30, 2010 10:12 am

View Your Diet Resolution as a something other than what it is - Lifestyle Change

It is never easy to change the way you do things. Dieting is not different. First, don't think of what you're doing as restricting yourself from anything. If you're trying to lose weight or cut inches off your body, or just eat more healthy, nourishing foods, think of the endeavor as a change in lifestyle - not as something that you have to eliminate from your life, temporarily or otherwise. This includes making sure that your diet has variety - don't limit yourself to just eating grapefruit in the morning, or cottage cheese at lunch. Take some time to research healthy foods that are high in nutrition and low in fat or excessive carbohydrates, and head to the grocery store with a list. Think of it as a new food exploratory adventure!

Set Realistic Diet Resolutions

Next, be realistic about the goals you set for yourself. With the help of your doctor, a nutritionist, or some well-thought out research online, make a plan and write it down, along with short and long term mileposts. If you're slimming down, aim for losing a half pound to two pounds a week at the most, and be sure to chart your progress as you go. Making an ongoing list of things that you look forward to doing, and how you plan to feel when you reach your goals can help to keep you focused as well. Spend a little time each day specifically concentrating on your new you, and feeling good about yourself as you go.

Find a Diet Resolution Buddy

You might also think about recruiting a buddy who shares a similar resolution with you - a spouse, sibling, or good friend can be a great person to plan meals with, just don't let their downfalls suck you in. They should be there to support your success, not the other way around.

Be Aware of Diet Temptations

Be able to identify trouble spots that are likely to kick you back into old eating habits, like Tuesday Wing Night after work, or the coffee shop where you once indulged in a daily triple-fat venti mochacino. Find new routines to support your new healthy eating habits, and remember that in every moment, you are in control of what you put in your body. Because the only person who's guiltily stuffing that bacon-wrapped hot dog into your mouth at 3am is you.

Remember to Bounce Back

Finally, don't be discouraged by setbacks. There's every likelihood that you may stumble, just don't let it knock you off track. Get back up, dust yourself off, redouble your resolve, and never look back. And before you know it, you really will be a new you.

Actually the government is not in the way at all. It is the greed of the few that is in the way and hindering the success of the many.
