Gap between the wealthy and average American, as wide as ever December 24, 2010 03:52 am The average American's wealth fell 41%, compared to top ten 1% wealthiest Americans who saw decline of only 27%. That is a huge 14% gap applied on big sum like $14,000,000. The wealthy are wealthier by minimum $2,000,000 over the average American. Of course not to mention the recent tax breaks for the welathy accelarates the differential. Fairness has no meaning to anybody.

The administration has a full year for the implementation of the massive document of 2000+ pages.
A council of regulators will identify threats to the system. The Treasury secretary will lead the council.
Fuller disclosures and onsite supervision by Federal Reserve regulators and stiffer accounting rules will apply too.
