So creepy and silly huge $billion companies pretending to be cuddly startups.. January 15, 2012 10:56 am It is so creepy like trolls from a murky swamp when these $multi Billion Dollar companies pretending to be cute little start ups while all the time they are milking $billions from the public in investments and raking in $billions in income. There are no commentsMany people with big ideas, but few can make them come to life like Steve Jobs August 26, 2011 12:22 am Many of us come across so many people with big ideas but they never ever bother to pursue them. Even if they did, people are so sceptical that they will not support those new ideas unless the pack of sheep were doing it already. People need to pursue their own ideas and support others with them. Just take an exaple of social networs. What is it that prevents a pack of people from trying out something different? It is just lack of courage to do something. And that has limited the potential of humanity in USA. The rest of the world is already doing their own thing anyway. Comments:
There are no commentsHP are in negotiations to make a major acquisition and PC division disposal! August 18, 2011 02:37 pm Not happy with the performance of the PC division, HP not surprisingly wants to focus on their core business. A smart move. Even big businesses are asking the question about what their core business is and want to get closer to it, focus on it and make it robust. Observers are asking if that is bunkering down though. To some a unfied more strealined business is more exposed to the risks and rewards of that core business only. A leaner portfolio has its own increased risk. This is going in the opposite direction of what Google is doing, one would guess! Comments:
There are no commentsGoogle on a shopping spree, wants to buy Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion. August 16, 2011 12:41 am It is the Planet of the Patents and War of the Patents. Spectacular battles being fought for strategic advantages over their competitors. Everything Google and you will be a little puppy yarping and feeling good not knowing that you are a little puppy and the big dog knows all about you and may control you. Woooohaaa. Scary right. Well it is the cosumers who let Social Networks too big to fail, Search Engines know more about everyone and your every move. You the consumer are to blame! Whereever possible look for an alternative to the big guys. imo. Comments:
There are no commentsFrankly it is time for the little guys, had enough of the old titans! July 09, 2011 01:56 am Ok I get it, they are big and hungry, but have you ever driven around the Silicon Valley only to find some of the industry titans with vast campuses, buildings after buildings, guzzling resources like a fat monster, lying on its fat ass, yelling 'give me more, I want more' and eating like a pig with mount wide open. I need more people, more space, more cash, more profits, more, more, more! And those corporate elites in HR and Admin behaving no different than those bureaucrats one hundred years ago from yester years. OK damn it. We get it, you monopolistic freaks! Now go away! Leave us alone and let us try something different! They are fat big yawn, if I may express my opinion and say so bluntly!
