FIRST, SIGN UP Go to the sign up box and complete simple requested information about yourself, so that others know who you are. A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provided and you need to confirm by clicking on the link on the email to proceed. YOU MAY CUSOTMIZE YOUR PROFILE FOLLOWING THE STEPS BELOW IN ANY ORDER YOU CHOOSE, AND IT IS ENTIRELY UP TO YOU HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR PROFILE UNIQUE!
UNDER THE ‘MY PROFILE’ TAB, SLECT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
Customize Step 1. PHOTO UPLOAD. First upload a photo of yourself as this activates your account and helps other members know who you are.
Customize step 2. PRIVACY SETTINGS You have a choice of making your profile either: a) ‘Public’ (your profile is visible to anyone visiting your page), or b) 'Business' (only your basic information and your resume are visible to the public, but your friends can view your full profile) or c) ‘Private’ (only you and your friends are able to view your full profile).
Customize step 3. 'MY BASIC INFORMATION' Here enter/edit your bio data that will help enhance your presence on the web and improve your interaction experience using hotfuze. You may enter your cell phone number if you wish to receive text messages from members you decide to follow. We will never use your cell phone number to contact you or send any messages for any other reason.
Customize step 4. ABOUT ME (edit) My Story - Here you can edit your information about ‘My Story’ or 'Mission Statement' (corporate users) on your home page to help describe who you are and tell your friends about you. You can also edit details about what/who you would like to invite to hear from.
Announcements/News/Pin Board/Award – gifts that you receive from your friends will show here, you can also include here any special announcements, post stickers, or whatever you wish! Hit View/Edit My Profile to update your information immediately.
Customize step 5. PROFILE DESIGN Here you can customize your home page. You may select one of the stock backgrounds available or load a background of your choice (make sure that the picture is in .jpeg format), change the color of the text, color of the headers etc. This is your chance to be creative! See other members' profiles for some ideas.
Customize step 6. PROFILE TUNES/MEDEA PLAYER Load your favorite MP3 tunes that will play in the background whenever someone visits your page. Hit View/Edit My Profile to update your information immediately.
Customize step 7. RESUME You have a choice to post your resume, which will show on your profile. This will further help you advance your career and help you get closer to your life goals. Please do not include your address, phone numbers, email addresses or any other information.
Customize step 8. JOURNALS you are able to create folders that contain multi-page journals where you can write details of things that may be of interest to you such as notes, projects, stories, lecture notes, details of a trip, class schedule, recipes, etc.
Customize step 9. BLOG and MICRO BLOG with FOLLOW ME
MACRO BLOG You can create a blog and your friends can leave comments. This is a great way to express and share your thoughts.
MICRO BLOG NOW YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO WRITE QUICK COMMENTS AND THOSE WHO ARE FOLLOWING YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED OF YOUR POSTS via email and text message. If you intend to be notified by text message, then you need to enter your cell phone number in ‘my basic info’
Customize step 10. MY NOTIFICATION You may enter your notification criteria so that you are notified if a new member joins with particular profile that you wish to hear about.
ON TO OTHER TABS ON THE BLUE TAB BAR
Customize step 11. MY PHOTO This is where real fun begins. You need to create and name PHOTO ALBUMS. You may add photos to your albums by selecting one of the albums that you created and click on 'Add Photo' and simply browse to upload it from any other media. The first photo of the first album will be the lead photo and is the one that will appear next to your name and profile. You may rearrange or delete the photos as and when you wish at any time.
You can also add a caption to any of your photos to add more detail to the photo.
You may also make your photo public or private. Only your friends will be able to view your private photos.
It is very easy to remove a photo by going to the ‘Remove a photo’, highlighting the photo and then hitting the remove button at the bottom to remove.
Your friends will be able to add comments to your photos. Select View/Edit My Profile to update your information immediately.
Customize step 12. MY VIDEOS This is similar to above as for photos. Select View/Edit My Profile to update your information immediately.
Customize step 13. MY COMMUNITIES You may join up to four existing communities and you may change these at any time.
You may request a new community to the member center, if any particular community of your interest is not currently listed.
You may send a message to everyone in the community. Use this feature sparingly, as you are contacting all the members. In future, we are going to limit this feature.
Customize step 14. MY LINKS and REVIEWS You can add a link to a site that you frequently visit. This is easy to do. We have added a few links as default and think may be of use to you. You may also review products that you were happy with or otherwise and share that information with other members.
Customize step 15. MY EVENTS This is an exciting feature that will enable you track your events and let your friends know where you are planning on going. There is a calendar and you can enter your event data there. You may follow other members so that you will receive an email or a text message when a new event is posted by that member.
Customize step 16. SEEK ANSWERS. You are able to post a question or a comment for others to view and respond. You may also follow other member's 'Seek Answer' so that you will get an email or a text message (if you so choose) when a question is posted by that member.

MARKETPLACE (not available yet) You can purchase credits by charging your credit card and use the credits to purchase a gift for a friend or other member. You may also purchase service of our team to power up your profile.
